We purchased a villa with an older security system. Alarm sounded, screaming continually, during a thunderstorm. We had not been given any info on the alarm system, had no code, no key to the box. The only way I could silence the alarm was to throw the circuit.
After searching for a week, for a security company to service the system, I had no luck. Some did not call me back. One would not come unless I agreed to update and activate the system. In the meantime, we had no power in our master bedroom suite. A friend suggested I call Vigilant. They quickly agreed to come and made an appointment for 3-4 p.m. Eduardo arrived a few minutes early, was very professional, looked at the system, and advised that the technology was obsolete and recommended deactivating the alarm system. He did so, and restored our power. When I asked for his invoice so I could pay him, he said “no charge.” I wanted to give him a tip, but he declined.
What a great guy! He said to call him if I decided to install a new system, which I would definitely do. I told him I would highly
recommend him to others. What a great experience to deal with this company and especially with Eduardo Rivera.
